Credit Where Credit is Due

Not everything is bad, so we need to give credit where credit is due…

Life Saving Equipment

BC Ferries has now started installing a new life saving appliance that is far superior to anything that we have had on the vessels to date. The Marine Evacuation System or MES for short, built by Liferaft Systems Australia is the safest system for vessel evacuation available in our opinion. The system is designed to handle everyone from parents holding their infants, to the disabled and the elderly.

More choices onboard the vessels

From new menu items, including local products, to the large beautiful gift shops, the comfort and emphasis on passenger service is important.

Coast Saver Sailings

Reducing the fares on select sailings to help move traffic from the busy times to the quieter times is a smart business move, and opens up space for those passengers who can’t change there schedule.

BC Ferries and Parks Canada

Coastal Naturalists onboard, educating passengers about the local environment, animal and sea life and to show them the beauty of the waters that we sail.
