A 2005 Financial Warning Concerning BC Ferries

In 2005, Save Our Ferries hired the wonderful Nelle Maxey to write a report entitled, “BC Ferry Services Inc and Provincial Liabilities”. The report contained our concerns about the finances at BC Ferries and the long term impact it would have on Ferry Dependent Communities. We ended up presenting it to the Auditor General, who in turn produced his own report, “Changing Course – A New Direction for British Columbia’s Coastal Ferry System: A Review of the Transformation of BC Ferries.”

As you can see, we have been working at this for sometime.
